The Courtyard Residence integrates sustainability, biodiversity and wellness through an Urban Forest concept, ensuring it will be a uniquely green space in the densely developed Mongkok area of Hong Kong. It aims to connect every resident with nature by greening every view, with green balconies, courtyards and a sky garden stocked with over 36 mostly local plant species. The architect hopes the project could eventually create a new microclimate through its use of natural elements.

YEZO is an innovative, luxurious retreat which uses an experimental design approach to take advantage of its dramatic, mountain-side location in Hokkaido. It consists of a single living space, with an elegant black-slate roof, supported by a central concrete fireplace, and sweeping 360° views of the surrounding landscape. It is a place quiet reflection and private enjoyment in a setting defined by wood, stone, water and light, surrounded by ever-changing natural beauty.
