The refurbishment of Peak Galleria was no small undertaking, as it sits atop Victoria Peak, Hong Kong’s most iconic setting with sweeping views of the harbour below. The architect focused on several key strategies: to create a gem-like, eye-catching entrance, to improve the circulatory and visual experience of the interior, to create new alfresco dining areas and improve the accessibility to viewing platforms. After a 2.5-year reconstruction, it succeeded in winning the hearts of locals and tourists alike.
