Structurally, the architecture of this 34-storey “Office for the Future” mimics the form of a blossoming bud of a Bauhinia, the symbolic flower of Hong Kong. Echoing the nature theme is a lush, landscaped podium which will also serve as a pedestrian hub with elevated public walkways. Top-down construction will enable the 5-storey deep basement to be built in parallel with the above-ground tower, which is destined to become a healthy, smart, sustainable and beautiful addition to Hong Kong’s skyline.
