This benchmark new development envisions a dynamic mix of commercial office space, retail, preserved historic buildings, public parks and cultural facilities near Taipingqiao Park in Shanghai. It connects with the fabric of the neighborhood, at its heart a network of covered retail streets, evoking the memory of the Dong Tai Lu “Antique Street” that once occupied the site. The façade of the curvilinear 250m tall signature tower is based on the Shikumen arch of historic Shanghai.
