An elliptical and semi-open circular corridor, Technology Valley uses 8mm-thick steel as a “folded wall” to define six units around the oval. Four quadrants between the building and the circular corridor are themed water courtyard, light courtyard, bamboo courtyard, and exhibition courtyard, each designed for a specific function, for enjoying scenery, social activities, outdoor exhibitions and as a green leisure space. Green plants and louvers in the southwest help to block strong light, and water opposite lowers the ambient temperature.
