Rethinking an existing industrial complex for the client, a cement manufacturing company in Taiwan, the masterplan responded to the contrasting forces of the natural versus industrial context. Lush greenery appears to be spilling over from the adjacent mountain form, with buildings creating a network of symbiotic relationships to minimise energy consumption. The material palette showcases a wide variety of concrete products so that visitors can familiarise themselves with the vast potential of the client’s core materials.
