The collision of Chinese and Western architectural design thinking stimulates my passion for design exploration. I hope to revitalize traditional materials through new technology. Many of projects designed by Various Associates reflect my pursuit of materials, art and spatial expressions. I believe that materials play a significant role in design. By resorting to modern techniques, I intend to reshape Chinese traditional materials, so as to let them continue to be needed and utilized and thus to inherit traditional beauty in a modern manner.
