Design Philosophy:

Design, to me, is not about chasing perfection or spectacle — it is about authenticity, emotion, and time. My philosophy, “The Beauty of the Unfinished,” embraces imperfection as a form of wisdom: an awareness that all things are transient, evolving, and alive.

I believe true perfection lies in the traces of time — in the grain of wood, the fading of color, the weathering of stone. In every project, I seek to create spaces that breathe with these natural rhythms, allowing imperfection to become a dialogue between people and their environment. This sensibility is deeply rooted in Eastern philosophy — the Taoist balance of fullness and emptiness, and the wabi-sabi appreciation for incompleteness and transience.

After earning my Master’s degree from Hong Kong Baptist University, I founded Vaster Creative Cultural (VCC) to empower emerging designers and enterprises through creative strategy, brand management, and design storytelling. My career has allowed me to work across global hospitality and cultural projects, witnessing how design can connect heritage and modernity, ideals and reality.

I deserve to be among the 40 Under 40 not because of a pursuit of fame, but because I represent a generation that values sensitivity over spectacle — designers who embrace time as the ultimate co-creator. My work is not about creating flawless objects, but about leaving space for time to complete the story.
