Design Philosophy:
My design philosophy centers on sustainability, social impact, and a steadfast pursuit of excellence. Architecture is not just the creation of physical space—it is about shaping environments that enhance well-being, empower communities, and catalyze positive change. I am deeply passionate about transforming challenges into resilient, adaptive spaces that respond to today’s needs while embracing tomorrow’s possibilities.
Sustainable practice lies at the core of all my work. I am committed to integrating energy-efficient systems, climate-responsive planning, and responsible material selection on every project, regardless of scale. Architecture, as I see it, has a responsibility to drive climate action and resource efficiency; I am dedicated to moving the industry forward in these areas. Each building should leave a lighter footprint and a stronger legacy for the next generation.
Social responsibility fuels my approach to mentorship and industry leadership. Having benefited from the wisdom and encouragement of remarkable mentors, I strive to foster a culture of openness, creativity, and continuous learning within my teams. Through my roles as HKIA examiner and academic reviewer, I support the development of aspiring architects, encouraging innovation and ethical practice.
Being recognized among the 40 Under 40 would acknowledge not only my commitment to thoughtful, adaptive design but also my vision for architecture’s role in creating inclusive, sustainable urban futures. I believe the built environment has the power to inspire progress and elevate lives. My ambition is to use my experience and leadership to realize architecture’s fullest potential—as a force for well-being, innovation, and lasting positive impact on society.
