Ar. Cheung Wing Man Vivian

Vivian is currently the Deputy Director (Architecture) at China State Construction International Medical Industry Development Company Limited. As an Authorized Person and Registered Architect with degrees in architecture (from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London as well as the University of Hong Kong) and law, she carries over 15 years of leadership experience across not only consultancy, but also client and contractor sectors in both local and international markets. Her human-centric design philosophy and bold architectural approach have earned her multiple recognitions, including the Gold Award at the A&D Award, the 40 Under 40 Award, the Quality Building Award, etc.

She has been actively contributing to the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) and Architects Registration Board (ARB)since 2016. Vivian is currently the Council Member of HKIA and the Board Member of ARB, also serving as Co-Chair and Deputy Chairs in various Board, Group and Committee, including the Board of Local Affairs, the Communications Group, the Contract & Dispute Resolution Committee, the Buildings & Lands Committee, etc. Her passion lies in fostering collaboration among architects, building industry stakeholders and policymakers, ensuring that architectural practices yield positive impacts on communities and address contemporary urban challenges. Through her leadership, she aims to strengthen members connections, elevate the role of architects in shaping public policy and improving building regulations, ultimately creating a better living environment as a whole.

Vivian has also been the Chair of the Owners’ Committee for almost 10 years, monitoring and ensuring wellness quality in the community. She has also given presentations at international mega-events, like National Hospital Construction Conference and World Congress of Architects.
