Ar. Chan Chuen Chi Simon

Simon is a Registered Architect in Hong Kong, Canada, and PRC, with 25 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Design from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Simon has worked in New York, Toronto, and Hong Kong. His notable projects include the M+ Museum and the Revitalization of the Hang Seng Bank Headquarters in Hong Kong, Shangri-la Center in Ulaanbaatar, Hangzhou Winland Center, Shenyang Kerry Center, and Shenzhen Natural History Museum.

Simon has held various leadership positions within the architectural community, elected as Council Member at the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, Board Member at ARB Hong Kong, and Chair of the Board of Education and Board of Practices at HKIA. He has been invited as a speaker to conferences and seminars and represented Hong Kong in ARCASIA and International Union of Architects (UIA) committees and forums. He has been teaching in a number of institutions and is actively involved in architectural education in Hong Kong and abroad. He serves as an accreditor to degree programs in Hong Kong and acts as a critic and juror in schools and competitions.
