Born in Macau and raised in Australia, my passion for architecture and design has been ingrained in me from a young age. In 2010, I co-founded JWCC Architecture with a shared vision to promote quality architecture and culture. Our design philosophy centers around three core principles: green living, craftsmanship, and the rich culture of Macau. We strive to create spaces that harmoniously blend with nature, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. By infusing our designs with elements that celebrate and preserve Macau’s unique identity, we honor its vibrant spirit.
JWCC Architecture has a strong interest in Macau’s urban areas and architectural ensemble. Our extensive research on the city’s urban texture and development has garnered recognition, including the Gold Award at the 7th Shenzhen & Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of UrbanismArchitecture. As the curatorial unit for the Macau Pavilion, we further explore and reimagine urban spaces.
Our dedication to architectural excellence and cultural preservation has earned us praise, both locally and internationally. As President of the Architects Association of Macau since 2019 and a member of the Urban Planning Committee, I contribute to shaping the urban landscape of Macau. I also actively engage in international architectural organizations, promoting excellence as a committee member of ""Architecture for All"" in the Union of Architects (UIA) and professional practice in ARCASIA.
With my diverse design experiences and active involvement in the architectural community, I exemplify dedication, expertise, and a commitment to promoting quality architecture and cultural preservation. I am humbled and honored to be considered for the 40 Under 40 Awards and hope to contribute to the ongoing advancement of the architectural profession.
