Establishing JWCC Architecture in 2010 with Ms. Christine Choi has been an incredible journey. Our firm has gained international recognition and earned different awards for our diverse portfolio, which includes high-end residential apartments, commercial spaces, urban planning projects, and private residences.
At JWCC Architecture, under my leadership as principal, we believe in the profound impact of architecture on Macau’s identity. Our design philosophy is rooted in seamlessly integrating contemporary design with Macau’s streetscape while paying homage to traditional Chinese architecture. We strive to capture Macau’s unique culture and natural beauty, leaving a lasting impression through sustainable and innovative design.
Central to our vision is the promotion of quality architecture and culture. We have dedicated ourselves to enhancing Macau’s urban fabric, streetscapes, and architectural ensemble. Our extensive research on the city’s urban texture and development has garnered accolades, including the prestigious Gold Award at the 7th Shenzhen & Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of UrbanismArchitecture. Our involvement as the curatorial unit for the Macau Pavilion further demonstrates our commitment to reimagining Macau’s urban spaces.
Beyond project engagements, I actively participate in local and international architectural organizations. As the director of the Architects Association of Macau, a committee member of ""Architecture for All"" in the Union of Architects (UIA), and a committee member of professional practice in ARCASIA, I strive to uphold the highest standards of architectural practice and foster industry collaboration.
In recognition of my achievements, I received the 40 Under 40 China (Hong Kong/Macau) Design Outstanding Young Designer award in 2018. This honor highlights my dedication to pushing boundaries and making a lasting impact on the architectural landscape.
