Wayne Lim is an Associate Director in DP Architects and has over 13 years of experience leading a wide range of large complex mix-development projects in the regions. He is a seasoned project leader who specializes in engineering-led typology and data centre design, which requires high standards of reliability, security and efficiency. He has involved in several national mission-critical projects in Singapore, such as the new Mediacorp Campus and the Bukit Batok National Transmission Centre, which showcase his interest and expertise in this niche field.
He has also master planned and developed data centre facilities across Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, working with clients of national importance and industry leaders. He has designed and delivered fast-track, high-performance and sustainable data centre solutions, such as STT Jakarta 1 that completed recently in Indonesia.
A passionate and innovative project leader, Wayne is adept at using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to coordinate complex design and construction processes, as demonstrated by his involvement in the Tun Razak Exchange Retail Mall project in Kuala Lumpur, a 250,000 sqm of GFA project that required extensive BIM (Revit) work coordination.
With his current portfolio and focus on Mission Critical projects and Data Center developments across APAC, he believes that the future development shall integrate more greenery to the building and to reduce the carbon footprint and carbon emission to the environment. An individual who believes in quality and sustainable works, he is committed to creating more environmentally friendly and energy efficient solutions for his clients and the society. He is also keen to explore new technologies and methods that can enhance his design process and outcomes.
