Design Philosophy:

“We have a responsibility to work with people who have problems , because we have an opportunity to provide them with something beautiful and comfortable.” -Shigeru Ban As an Architect and Authorized Person, apart from working as a Project Manager to handle residential development projects, wholesale conversions, etc.I have multiple roles to serve the community. My thesis about locally inspired architecture was the winning entry for the Young Writers’ Debut Competition and launched my debut book during the Book Fair in 2009. Since then, I have been fortunate to be a columnist for the Hong Kong Economic Journal to this day. My main areas of concern have been urban planning, housing-related policies, living standard for the subdivided units, and housing for the underprivileged in Hong Kong and worldwide. I was involved in school building projects in Cambodia and Nepal, where I helped construct 3 schools and a playground, and joined volunteering service trips to developing countries. I am one of the co-founders of a non-profit organization, Beyond the Wall, involved in design, fundraising, construction monitoring, and educating both Hong Kong students studying architecture and children in Cambodia and Nepal. Our services have extended to improving the living standards of ethnic minorities in Hong Kong. During the Covid period, I have been involved in music projects for the community. My published work includes a song tailored for a girl with albinism, and I am currently writing a song concerning a wheelchair caretaker in Wan Chai, to help overcome difficulties with accessibility issues. With my knowledge of architecture and insight for writing and community projects, I believe that kindness can make the world beautiful. I hope to continue contributing through my unique combination of skills.
