Design Philosophy:
Architecture combines design creativity with technical competence, and Architect has a key role to play in solving many of society’s problems. Rather than committing to a fixed design style, instead dedicate to an elegant holistic approach: design solutions that reflect the people, culture, and characteristics of the city, demonstrating diversity, innovation, and harmony.
Finding a design solution is like a crime-solving puzzle, but in a three-dimensional way, the journey is full of challenges and surprises. To “crack the case”, we carried out the investigation, seeing the scene and sketching the scene, searching for evidence, gradually eliminating potential suspects, and eventually narrowing it down to the answer, the design solution.
This award would be a recognition of my commitment to Architectural Design and adding value to society, tackling environmental issues with a keen interest in sustainability. Having worked in global design practices in both Europe and Asia for over a decade, experiences covering a range of projects in the Carbon Zero strategy, land acquisition, Urban planning, MLP, Commercial Retail, Mixed-use TOD development, Office headquarters, Leisure, Sports, and Aviation sectors.
Landmark projects completed during my tenure as lead designer include Hong Kong International airport T1 Annex, Shanghai One East Plaza; Lotte World Mall in Seoul; R&F Plaza Water Park Mall in Harbin; Shanghai Xuhui West bund development and Jamsil MICE and Sports complex in Seoul.
