Design Philosophy:

My architectural journey has been shaped by my education at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and the University of Pennsylvania, along with invaluable professional experiences in Singapore and Beijing. Exposure to diverse design philosophies and practices has given me a nuanced approach to architecture—one that balances meticulous craftsmanship, innovative problem-solving, and meaningful collaboration.

This perspective has been instrumental in delivering a wide range of impactful projects across various regions. My portfolio includes several award-winning and high-profile developments, such as *SCAPE, Westgate, and Charlton Residences in Singapore; Chongqing MyPlace Mall, Jinan Dareway Software Campus, and Hangzhou Transit-Oriented Development in China; as well as Diamond Mall for the Peng Huoth Group and EcoMall in Cambodia. Most recently, I led the redesign of H&M’s flagship store in Singapore.

I’m deeply motivated by the potential of design to elevate experiences, which drives my passion for creating fresh and compelling work. My optimism fuels curiosity and commitment, and I strive to inspire my team to bring ideas to life with rigor and dedication.

Beyond architectural practice, I’m actively engaged in the design community as both an educator and jury member. As an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), I contribute to thesis jury panels and participate in community events organized by the Youth Architect’s League (YAL), adding to ongoing conversations around architecture, urbanism, and culture.

Becoming a 40 Under 40 Award winner is both an honour and a significant milestone, affirming the path I’ve committed to in architecture. This recognition not only validates my contributions and achievements to date but also fuels my ambition to push boundaries further, driving impactful and innovative design.
