Design Philosophy:
A home goes beyond just walls and a roof; it serves as a haven where aspirations are cultivated and grow. Having practiced interior design over 14 years, I leverage my expertise and creativity to bring these visions to life. My design philosophy always emphasizes a client-focused perspective, achieving a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics. By understanding and interpreting the unique visions of each client, I craft spaces that not only meet functional needs but also evoke emotional connections and personal expressions.
One notable commercial project is ""Yachi Kura"" (a 4-in-1 Japanese Hotspot), which offers a unique customer experience. The journey begins with a non-traditional bakery, followed by a blue moon-themed eatery, a high-end izakaya, and finally, a self-pick section of an online marketplace. Each area is distinct yet interconnected, immersing customers in Japanese culture.
Through the work, I aim to redefine and shape the way people engage with their surroundings, making every interaction meaningful and memorable. For example, another standout residential project, ""Carmel Hill,"" was designed to bring three generations of a family under one roof. To accommodate everyone’s tastes, we used rounded curves and a cohesive color scheme. Rounded corners and lines were featured throughout the house, adding a playful touch, while metal decorations highlighted the classic style, achieving a design that is both classic and playful.
Winning the PERSPECTIVE 40 Under 40 Award is a profound honour. My dedication to client-focused design and the ability to balance rationality with aesthetics truly set us apart. This recognition not only celebrates these achievements but also encourage me to continue pushing the boundaries of design innovation. I am committed to creating spaces that resonate with people, fostering connections, and enhancing the quality of life.
