Design Philosophy:
As the founder of MMM Design Studio, a Hong Kong-based interior design firm, I focus on residential design with the philosophy of ""Small Space, Think Big, Live Better."" This approach addresses the unique challenges of Hong Kong’s nano living spaces, characterized by limited square footage, high population density, and the demand for multifunctional areas.
Our design objective encompasses not only the physicality of space but also intuitive usability, seamlessly connecting function and aesthetics. Through space utilization studies, we enhance relationships among people, while our innovative solutions—such as optimizing dimensions and blurring zone boundaries—promote flexible and efficient space usage. My design philosophy is reflected in our award-winning projects, including the Silver Award for Emerging Firms at the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards 2023 (APIDA).
I strive to create minimal, timeless, personalized, and eco-friendly designs. To further my expertise, I obtained Level Two certification as a professional organizer from the Japan Shuno Licensing Association. And, volunteered with the DOMAT community, providing solutions for subdivided households. Through participating in DOMAT’s surveys, we developed educational workshops focused on storage solutions and designed a furniture system for them, reinforcing my commitment to a better future for the industry.
