Design Philosophy:
Anika is passionate about the human-oriented design and interested in social space innovation. She believes in sustainable development with an appreciation for quality place-making. Anika also actively involved in all kinds of social serving works as for the university, Institute of Architects, Hong Kong Architecture Center and even Greater Bay Area Guangdong Design Association.
She is also a honourable member in the fifth council of Guang Dong Engineering Exploration and Design Association, giving contribution in linking the professional institutes between Greater Bay Area. Besides, she has been as an Industrial Assessor in a course for the City University for over 4 years, giving guidance and advice to the students in Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering. With passion to give back to the society, Author of a book published by Hong Kong Architecture Center in 2021, to promote architecture through articles to the public.
Anika Poon, Associate Director in LWK + PARTNERS. She is a member of the HKIA and a Registered Architect of the Architects Registration Board. She has accumulated extensive experience in project design and management across Hong Kong, mainland China and Southeast Asia. Anika has a wide spectrum of work experience covering mixed-use developments, international hotels, large-scale shopping malls, institutional projects and transit-oriented developments (TODs). Her projects received numerous international awards, which have proven her ability in delivering high-quality buildings. Two of her projects in Chengdu and Wuxi won Hong Kong Quality Building Award in 2016 and 2020.
